The Malaysian Minister of Public Utilities visited Molecor last Friday, 26th September.

Datuk Amar Haji Awang Tengah Ali Hassan, the Minister of Public Utilities, Sarawak, Malaysia, together with his official delegation, consisting of the Ambassador to Spain His Excellency Kennedy Jawan, Datuk Dr. Stephen Rundi Utom, Deputy Minister of Public Utilities (Electricity and Telecommunication), Datuk Sylvester Entri Muram, Assistant Minister of Public Utilities (Water Supply), Datuk Amar Haji Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar, Speaker, State Legislative Assembly, Tuan Haji Ubaidillah Haji Abdul Latip, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Utilities, and general managers, officers from the various Water Authorities, Department of Public Works, joined by Molecor (SEA) CEO, Mr. Nomis Sim, and a specialized team of engineers visited the Molecor facilities on September, 26 in Madrid.

Throughout the day, Datuk Amar Hj. Awang Tengah Ali Hasan and his delegation, will visit the Molecor headquarters in Loeches and in Getafe and in particularly, explanation of the the unique and innovative manufacturing processes of the company, a technology capable of producing PVC-O pipes up to 800 mm in diameter, the first such technology worldwide.

The ​​ Minister of Public Utilities with the delegation will also attend a detailed presentation at the headquarters of Molecor in Loeches about the operation of this unique technology; in this way they will know this revolutionary technology which is positioning the PVC-O as one of the key materials for the conveyance of water under high pressure conditions.

This technology, an exclusive patent of Molecor, has already been installed in different countries around the world promoting a significant increase in the use of PVC-O, a material that represents an indisputable number of advantages and features for the conveyance of water under pressure.  This technology enables Molecor to produce pipes with the widest range of diameter, and also pressure rating up to PN25.

Molecor SEA is currently constructing the manufacturing facility in Gebeng, Pahang, Malaysia.  Scheduled to complete, and begin production in the 4th quarter of this year, the plant is able to produce pipes up 400mm for 2014, and up to 630mm in the 2nd quarter of 2015.  The pipes will be exactly the same specification and performance as Molecor TOM pipes.
